The indefinite-alternating hunger strikes launched in prisons against the aggravated isolation against Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan and prison conditions mark their 5th day. Prisoners on hunger strike in T Type Closed Prison in Amed (Diyarbakır) delivered messages through their families.

Activists Jiyan Taş, Özlem Seyhan, Songül Aşıla and Media Songül said, "The Kurdish issue must be resolved through negotiations with Abdullah Öcalan. We invite all sensitive groups to speak out to bolster our protest."
