In the village of Roboski where 34 people lost their life in airstrikes by the Turkish army on 28 December 2011, families and survivors celebrated a black Sacrifice Feast.
Families gathered at the graveyard on Sacrifice Feast day. In the early hours of the morning, dozens of civilians flocked to the cemetery joining the women dressed in black, as a sign of permanent mourning.
The families and friends were united in the grief, a sorrow made even deeper by the fact that no justice has been done for the victims or Roboski and no responsible has been taken to court yet.
