The Human Rights Association (IHD) Istanbul Branch and the Commission Against Disappearance announced that despite the ban, the Saturday Mothers will once again gather at Galatasaray Square at 12 pm, on Saturday to mark week 702 of their action.
This week's action will be asking what happened to Kenan Bilgin, 35, who had been detained on 12 September 1994 at the bus stop in Dikmen, Ankara.
The statement made by the promoters of the sit-in reads: "In the 702nd week of our action we will demand justice for Kenan Bilgin together with his family!" We are calling you to add a voice to our request for justice with a red carnation".
