The signatures collected for Mazlum Dağ and Abdurrahman Er, who received capital punishment in Southern Kurdistan, will be delivered to the UN and European institutions.
The signatures collected in the campaign launched by the Berlin Council of Navenda Kurdistaniyen Azad to lift the death sentence given by the authorities of Southern Kurdistan against Mazlum Dağ and Abdurrahman Er will be submitted to the relevant authorities.
Berlin Council of Navenda Kurdistaniyen Azad co-chairs Aslı Çiçek and İsmail Fingersiz said, “We have finalized the petition which carried out until 01.12.2020 with the demand that the death sentence against Mazlum Dağ and Abdurrahman Er be lifted. We have started to deliver the signatures we have collected to the specified institutions and to work on dialogue with these institutions."
The signatures will be submitted to the following institutions: United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, ministries of Foreign Affairs of the European Union member states, human rights organizations such as Amnesty International, rapporteurs of the European Court of Human Rights, deputies and representatives of the political parties in Germany and the iniative established to deal with the case of Mazlum Dağ and Abdurrahman Er in Switzerland.
The co-chairs thanked everyone who took a stand against injustice, unlawfulness and injustice and participated in the signature campaign.
