Six prisoners in Elaziğ F Type Prison No. 2 said in a phone call with their families that they went on hunger strike on Wednesday against the increasing pressure and torture in the prison.

According to the families, the prisoners said that their ward was constantly raided and they were continuously harassed.

The families said that a prisoner named Mahsum Sarp was tortured for 20 minutes by the guards and, as a result, had his teeth broken.

Thereupon, 6 prisoners in the ward announced that they were going on hunger strike.
