TKP-ML commemorates victims of Roboski massacre

In a written statement the TKP-ML European Committee commemorated the victims of the Roboski massacre and condemned once again the Turkish state which "has continued and continues to kill people."

In a written statement to commemorate the victims of the Roboski massacre, the TKP-ML European Committee said: "The Turkish state continues the tradition it inherited from the Ottomans with new massacres. On 28 December 2011, it killed 34 Kurdish villagers in Roboski, bombing them with F-16 planes. Most of the 34 people killed were children."

The statement added: "The AKP-MHP fascist government continues to murder the Kurdish people. North and East Syrian lands have been occupied. Hundreds of patriots and revolutionaries were murdered in the invasion and war launched with the approval of the imperialists of Russia and the USA.

The Turkish state used ISIS mercenaries to destroy the democratic rights gained by the Kurds in Rojava, in North and East Syria. It occupied Afrin, Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî. It has not only attacked to eliminate the gains of the Kurds in Rojava; it attacked all regions where Kurdish people are located, inside and beyond its borders. While bombing the mountains 'inside' where the guerrilla lives, with planes and drones; Rojava, Iraqi Kurdistan and Shengal have also been turned into battlefields by the fascist Turkish government."
