Two women committed suicide in the provinces of Adýyaman and Mardin on Tuesday.

Twenty-eight years old Menekþe D. who lived in Cumhuriyet Neighborhood of Adýyaman was allegedly found having hanged herself with a scarf in her house on Tuesday. Menekþe lost his life and was taken to Adýyaman Research and Training Hospital's morgue for autopsy.

Another woman aged seventeen attempted suicide for a still unknown reason in Mardin's Kýzýltepe district late Tuesday evening. The young woman is said to have jumped from the house where she had been living with her family. The woman survived with injuries as she fell down on the sunshade of a shop under the apartment building. The woman is reported to be facing a life-threatening situation with fractures on her body and different parts of her skull.
