The Vigil for Justice carried out by Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit in front of the courthouse in Urfa continues for the 99th day.

Emine Şenyaşar lost her husband and two sons in the attack on the family shop carried out by bodyguards and relatives of AKP deputy Ibrahim Halil Yıldız in June 2018, just before the elections. Emine’son, Ferit Şenyaşar, was injured in the attack.

The family came to the courthouse early in the morning to carry out their vigil in the courthouse garden.

Journalists taking pictures of the Şenyaşar family were harassed by police and told that "it is forbidden to shoot outside public building".

The family posted a statement on their Twitter account: "Just saying we want justice is not enough! Sometimes injustice must be challenged! If you have witnessed an injustice, don't remain silent! Come forward, human dignity demands it... Too much law, no justice! Too many prosecutors, no courage."

The family's vigil in the courthouse continues.
