Forensic Medicine Institution 3rd Specialization Board Chairman Nur Bilgen, who left cancer patient political prisoner Güler Zere dying has signed a new outrageous decision. Forensic Medicine has concluded that leukemia patient Abdullah Akçay, who has been fighting for a living for 11 months, doesn’t need to be sent out. Mother Beyrete Akçay cried out, saying; “The state wants to kill Abdullah.”

Threatened by a usurpation gang and initiated into crime at 14, Abdullah was arrested 4 years ago on charges of seizure and theft and jailed in Maltepe Prison. Abdullah Akçay was placed in the cell of prisoner patients in Okmeydaný Training and Research Hospital on 24 August 2009 as he came down with cancer of the blood in the prison. He was diagnosed with leukemia. His chemotherapy treatment started at short notice but it was not enough. Father Ahmet Akçay sent petitions to the President, Prime Minister and many other politicans because he needed the health report by the Forensic Medicine for his remission. The response from the Forensic Medicine to the application made on February 2010 came on 21 May 2010. However, the report issued bowled the Akçay family over as they had been waiting with hopefully.
