Guerrillas hit the Beyzokê outpost in Şemzinan, which left 10 soldiers dead. On the other hand, 13 soldiers were killed so far in Çarçela where Turkish army operation continues.

ŞEMZİNAN

HPG/YJA Star guerrillas carried out an action targeting the Beyzokê outpost in Gerdiya area in Hakkari's Şemzinan (Şemdinli) district at 13:00 on March 27. Guerrillas hit the soldiers deployed around the outpost, as result of which 10 soldiers were killed and 3 others were wounded.

ÇARÇELA

The operation launched by the Turkish army in Çarçela area on the borderline of Hakkari's Gever (Yüksekova) district on March 25 continues.

Turkish troops facing firm resistance from guerrillas cannot advance in the area. The operation is also joined by counter-guerrilla groups from Oremar and Sate.

3 Sikorsky and 1 Cobra helicopters of the Turkish army have been damaged in the operation so far. The Cobra helicopter caught fire and retreated from the clashes area. No information is yet available if the helicopter crashed or not.

13 soldiers have been killed during during clashes in the operation area and many more were wounded.
