114-year prison sentence sought for Siirt Co-mayor
114-year prison has been asked for Siirt Co-mayor Tuncer Bakırhan who has been jailed and replaced by a trustee as part of the government's political genocide operations.
Siirt Public Prosecutor's Office has finalized the investigation against Siirt Co-mayor Tuncer Bakırhan who was suspended after imprisonment on November 16. The indictment prepared by Siirt Public Prosecutor's Office has been approved by Siirt 1st Heavy Penal Court.
In the indictment, 114-year prison sentence is sought for Bakırhan for “spreading terrorist propaganda” 18 times and “organizing an unlawful meeting and demonstration” twice between 2014 and 2016, and “membership to a terrorist organization”.The indictment also described Bakırhan's attendance in funerals as a crime.
