12 including co-mayors of Gürpınar detained in Van
12 people including Co-mayors of Gürpınar district have been taken into custody as result of house raids in Van province Wednesday morning.
Police forces raided several houses in the province of Van in the early hours of the morning, and detained 12 people including co-mayors of the DBP-held Gürpınar district municipality which is among the municipalities usurped by the government.
Co-mayors Yıldız Çetin and Zeki Yıldız and 10 other people detained in the operation have been taken to police department.
