13 students have been detained as a result of a raid by special operation police at Hakkari University today.
The police raid came after yesterday's demo where students protested the AKP government's policies against the Kurdish people and the increasingly ongoing massacres in the Kurdish region. 13 members of Colomerg Students' Association (CÖDER) have been taken into custody in the operation.
A huge banner hanged by students on the building of Hakkari University yesterday read "Massacre in Kurdistan, classes boycotted".
On the other hand, police teams have raided a house in Bağlar neighborhood early this morning, as a result of which two people were detained.
The detainees are being held at anti-terror branch of police station.
