15 people including Democratic Society Congress (DTK), Democratic Regions Party (DBP) and Human Rights Association (İHD) administrators were detained during the house raids police officers carried out across Erzurum. The detainees are accused of "Carrying out activities for an organization" and were barred from meeting with their lawyers as they were taken to the Provincial Police Headquarters in Erzurum.

Below are the people that were arrested in Erzurum recently: DTK administrator Osman Özbey, İHD administrator Felemez Ele, DBP provincial administrators Çetin Gözmen and Bilal Yaprak, DBP Tekman district administrator Cüneyt Korkmaz, DBP Hınıs district administrators Turan Oruç and Savaş Duman, M. Nasır Çelik, Cuwan Deniz, Ferhat Balkan, Cihan Türkmen, Ahmet Alkan, Hamza Altun, Hikmet Sarı, and Ercan Toprak.
