As the wave of migration from Shehba and other parts of Syria to Rojava's Efrîn Canton continues, 1500 more refugees, majority of whom is women, children and the elderly, have arrived at Efrîn Canton today.

The refugees coming from Raqqa, Tabqa, Meskene, Deir Hafer, Aleppo and Iraqi towns have entered Efrîn Canton through the Qetme village in Shera district. The refugees, who are faced with the insensitivity of international aid organizations, have been placed in Shehba and Rubar camps in the canton.

Felah Mustefa, a Turkmen migrating from Iraq, stated that SDF fighters brought them to the secure zones. Refugees from Shehba and other parts of Syria emphasized that ISIS gangs and the Turkish army continue to change the demographics of the region.

Asayish forces provide the refugees with safe access to Rubar and Shehba camps.
