16 detained as state forces attack protestors in Terolar
Turkish state forces attacked the people joining a vigil led by Alevi citizens in Terolar area of Maraş against the AKP government's attempts at establishing a camp for jihadist groups under the guise of an “AFAD camp”.

Turkish state forces attacked the people joining a vigil led by Alevi citizens in Terolar area of Maraş against the AKP government's attempts at establishing a camp for jihadist groups under the guise of an “AFAD camp”.
16 people were detained as a result of the aggression by state forces who on the other hand tore down the tents where vigil is held near the Cemevi (Alevi place of worship). Soldiers later burned the tents. HDP Party Assembly member Pınar Aydınlar is among those detained who are being held in Dulkadiroğlu District Gendarmerie Outpost.
An 80-year-old elderly got seriously injured after being harshly hit on the head by pressure water.
In the meantime, state forces also hinder the access to Terolar of masses coming from Istanbul, Ankara, İzmir and other cities for solidarity with the resistance.
