16-year-old inmate Seyit Rıza Şaran got heavily injured as a result of the fire that broke out during the revolt in Şırnak T Type Prison on September 28. Another child inmate Cegerxwin Akdeniz had allready lost his life in the fire.

Seyit Rıza Şaran has died in Şırnak State Hospital where he had been receiving treatment since.

Şaran's body is now being taken to his hometown, Urfa's Birecik district, following a post-mortem examination. He will be laid to rest tomorrow.
