21 inmates held in Siirt E Type Closed Prison were transferred to various prisons on January 13, last Friday unbeknownst to their lawyers and families.

The transfer of the prisoners came out today as their families and relatives went to the prison for a visit.

According to prison administrators that have informed the families of the transfer during their visit, those exiled from the prison include Veysel Akkurt with advanced epilepsy.

Names of the inmates and the prisons they have been transferred to are as follows:

To Bafra T Type Closed Prison: Melek Çarpan, Mervan Karakuş, Methi Adar, Methi Aykaç, Nevzat Çelik, Remzi Türköz, Sabri Bark, Süleyman Aktaş, Şakir Tutuş.

To Gümüşhane E Type Closed Prison: Mehmet Salih Temel, Ramazan Gültekin, Şiyar Timurtaş, Vedat Oktay, Mehmet Yaman.

To Ordu E Type Closed Prison: Cafer Akdoğan, Cemil Ayhan, İsmail Tekkek, Lokman Daneri, M. Halil Gümüş, Veysel Akkurt, Hüseyin Arasan.
