21 people detained in political genocide operations
21 people have been detained in the increasingly ongoing operations of political genocide in Van and Amed provinces.
Police forces conducted house raids and detained 13 Kurdish politicians in Van's Tuşba district early Sunday morning.
The detainees who include Democratic Regions' Party (DBP) Tuşba District Co-chair Hakkı Cemal have been taken to Edremit District Police Headquarters.
On the other hand, the number of people detained during yesterday's house raids in Amed's Kulp district rose to 8.
The eight people detained during house raids throughout yesterday, who include DBP District Co-chairs Berna Çelik and Murat Yaman, have been taken to Kulp District Gendarme Command.
