While details of the savage massacre committed by Turkish forces in Şırnak's Cizre district are not clear yet due to the ongoing blackout, it came out that 26 people trapped in the first basement of atrocity had all been massacred.
A total of 31 people in this first basement, 15 of whom were wounded, had been awaiting evacuation for 19 days when they were last reached 2 weeks ago.
26 corpses have been retrieved from this basement today, in addition to 13 others recovered from other buildings around in the neighborhood. Ambulances of Cizre Municipality have carried 39 corpses to Cizre State Hospital Friday afternoon.
Out of 138 trapped people, corpses of 110 retrieved
A total of 110 corpses have been retrieved from the area of three basements in Cudi and Sur neighborhoods during the past 4 days.
As many as 138 people were known trapped and waiting evacuation in the three basements of atrocity before the massacre committed by Turkish military and police forces. There is still no news available regarding the situation in the third basement where 28 people had remained trapped when they were last reached 2 days ago.
