Police forces conducted raids on numerous houses in Konak, Yafes, Nûr, Cudî and Sur neighborhoods in Cizre district of Şırnak today.

28 people were taken into custody during the raids. Reports say that the detainees were battered and subjected to ill treatment while being detained.
