3 civilians killed during gangs’ missile attack on Sheikh Maqsoud

Syrian National Coalition (SNC) gang groups target civilians with hand-made missiles as they attack Aleppo’s Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood.

SNC gang groups are reported to have attacked Aleppo’s Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood and town of Kefer Hemra this morning with Elephant missiles, and 3 civilians were killed during the attacks.

Military experts state that with their length of 3-6 meters and width of 50 cm, the missiles are named ‘Elephant’ because they make a noise that resembles elephant sounds. Inspired by Grad missiles, these hand-made missiles contain chemical materials and have ranges of 800 meters to 4 kilometers.

Elephant missiles were first made and used by Ahrar Al-Sham gangs, and have an impact as much as the barrel bombs used by regime warplanes.
