ISIS gangs attacked peshmerga positions in the Xazir and Bashiqa areas of Mosul this morning. 3 peshmergas died and 7 others were injured during the attack.

Patriotic Union of Kurdistan’s (PUK) Mosul representative Xeyas Sûrçî spoke to Rojnews Agency regarding the ISIS attack and said that peshmergas repelled the gangs’ attack in the region.

ISIS gangs are reported to be shelling the mountains of Bashiqa, and Surçi stated that many gangs were killed during the attack.

Surçi noted that 3 peshmergas died and 7 others were wounded when an ISIS suicide bomber blew himself up near a peshmerga position in Xazir.
