Lawyers met with the 9 politicians, including the Nusaybin Municipality Co-mayors Cengiz Kök and Sara Kaya, who were taken into custody 5 days ago in line with the political genocide operations.

Lawyer Kamuran Tanhan is one of those lawyers and he said that the politicians were taken to mandatory medical check-up on the day they were taken into custody, but they weren’t allowed to exit the vehicle and the doctor examined them in there.

Tanhan reported that the prosecutor’s office issued a decree for a 30-day detention for the 9 politicians.
