The 'Martyr Brusk Karker’ training cycle at the 'Martyr Berxwedan Academy' of YBŞ and YJŞ has been finalized with a ceremony.
A military ceremony was held at the 'Martyr Berxwedan Academy' of YBŞ (Shengal Resistance Units) and YJŞ (Shengal Women's Resistance Units) to mark the finalization of the 'Martyr Brusk Karker’ training cycle which was attended by 34 recruits and lasted 3 months.
Fighters of the YBŞ and YJŞ provide technical, military and ideological background at the 'Martyr Berxwedan Academy'. The attendees are provided with military training in addition to classes on the Kurdish People's Leader, history of women, history of Êzidxan and history of Kurdistan.
The military ceremony marking the finalization of the training cycle was attended by Êzidî civilians, YBŞ/YJŞ commanders and mother of Brusk Karker.
Speaking here, YBŞ Commander Dıjwar Feqir called attention to the attacks of KDP gangs on Khanasor and said the followings;
"Youths of Êzidxan are training and organizing themselves against their enemies and massacres at the 29th anniversary of the Halabja massacre. The youths of Êzidxan are not like how they were in the pre-genocide period; they have tasted freedom with their will today. For this reason, we will not give the holy land of Êzidxan, which was liberated with the blood of our youth, to any force. The sovereign powers like the KDP can no more come here and oppress the people like they did in the past. We as YBŞ and YJŞ forces have liberated dozens of Shengal's villages from the gangs during the past two years, and we have protected the land of Shengal into which we will allow no invading force to enter. Neither we nor our people will accept such an attempt by the KDP after seeing its true face. These gangs will be pushed out of Êzidxan at any cost.
We as YBŞ promise our people and the martyrs of the 73rd genocide that we, fighters of Êzidxan, will protect these lands from invading forces and enemies, and we will never allow another genocide on these holy lands."
The training cycle is named after YBŞ fighter Sıfıyan Heci Ehmed (Brusk Karker) who fell a martyr during the operation to liberate Manbij on June 28, 2016 in which he had participated to free the Êzidî women and children in ISIS captivity.
