According to reports coming through, violent clashes that erupted after the attack of armed groups affiliated to the KDP are ongoing. 4 armed members of the KDP groups were captured alive by fighters of YBŞ/YJŞ (Shengal/Women's Defense Units).

Reports suggest that 1 YBŞ fighter has died and 3 others got wounded during the ongoing fighting, while no official statement has been made yet by the YBŞ.

YBŞ and YJŞ commanders state that the attacks launched by KDP started after KRG President Masoud Barzani's recent visit to Turkish capital Ankara.
