The 4th group has taken over the protest launched in Van to support the hunger strikes by thousands of individuals demanding an end to the isolation imposed upon Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Ocalan. There was high participation to the 3-day protest launched in the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Ipekyolu district offices.

Prisoner family member Emine Bozkurt said the isolation is imposed upon not just the Kurdish people but all peoples of Turkey and the Middle East. Bozkurt added that the hunger strikes are an honorable action.
