People gathered in Sulaymaniyah city of South Kurdistan to remember Sakine Cansız, Fidan Doğan and Leyla Şaylemez who were brutally murdered in the heart of Paris, France on 9 January 2013.
Asayish (public security) forces intervened the commemoration organised at the Azadi (Freedom) Park and detained at least 50 people, mostly women.
