Turkish forces raided several houses in the centre and districts of Mardin province in morning hours. Seven people were detained during the raids against those accused of "aiding a terrorist organization". The detainees’ access to lawyers has been banned for 24 hours.

Those detained in today’s political genocide operation are as follows: Former co-mayor of Savur Municipality Mehmet Aydın Alökmen, Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) executives Bedii Yılmaz and Ayşe Bozan, Mardin Textile and Clothing Industrialists Association (MARGİSAD) chairman Halil El, tradesman Mahsum Bilkay, 72-year-old woman Meles Gültekin and a person named Zeki whose surname could not be learned.
