The Turkish military operation in Tendürek area in Van's Ebex (Çaldıran) district continues in its fourth day with the participation of village guards.

According to a statement by Van Governorate, 8 soldiers were killed and 8 others were wounded during clashes that erupted after an action by guerrillas. These include 1 lieutenant, 2 sergeants and 5 specialist sergeants.

While the wounded soldiers couldn't be retrieved from the clashes area, these could later be reached and taken with helicopters, and taken to Yüzüncü Yıl University Dusrsun Odabaşı Medical Faculty for treatment.

HPG has not made a statement on the operation and casualties yet.
