Police forces conducted simultaneous raids in Gürpınar, Saray and Tuşba districts of Van province this morning.

Police detained HDP district administrators Sinem Malal, Nurettin Çallı, Müslüm Yücel and Ahmet İnceer in Gürpınar; DBP administrator Abdurrahman Olgun in Tuşba; and Mehmet Bora, Ahmet Binler, Ahmet Büyük and Aydın Acar in Saray.

Many Kurdish politicians had similarly been detained in Van last week as part of the AKP regime's political genocide against the Kurdish people and their elected representatives.
