Jinên Tolhildêr Initiative announced that they "set fire to a vehicle belonging to special warfare elements in Erzurum on 11 April in response to the sexual assault attempt of a specialist sergeant in Şırnak and the special war policy".
Stating that this action was a warning, the Initiative said, "Whoever supports the special war policies developed against Kurdish youth and especially young women in Kurdistan is our target."
