An action was carried out against the army base in the Rûbarok region of Hakkari’s Şemdinli district with artillery and long-range rifles.

Helicopters are reported to have arrived at the bases in order to retrieve injured soldiers.

The Turkish army and village guards launched an operation in the region after the action.
