Residents and Civilian Defense Units YPS / YPS-Jin in Gever (Yüksekova) repelled the attacks of state forces that used heavy weaponry and armored vehicles against both neighborhoods throughout last night.

Residents supported the resistance of YPS and YPS-Jin forces by going out on the streets, making loud noises and playing songs of resistance. Fireworks lit up the night in Güngör neighborhood where civilians did a group dance of resistance.

Many houses were hit with bullets and garden walls were destroyed during the attacks of state forces, which could not overcome people’s barricades of resistance.
