Residents of Kelar in Southern Kurdistan, stopped the life in the city to protest the Kurdistan Regional Government.
Residents of Kelar in Southern Kurdistan, stopped the life in the city to protest the Kurdistan Regional Government.
In Kelar, all shops remained closed on Sunday morning and clerks and workers went for a one-day strike to protest KRG.
The protest came after the regionwide demonstrations which demanded the resignation of the Kurdish government. Peshmergas who are loyal to Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) killed 6 people during the demonstrations.
The protestors demand a transparent government and fair elections and accuse KRG of corruption.
