Diyarbakır Police Headquarters has completed processing Amed Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayors Gültan Kışanak and Fırat Anlı, who had been detained on October 25. The processing of Amed Co-Mayors, who had not given their statements until they met their lawyers yesterday, continued until this morning. Kışanak and Anlı are expected to be referred to court this afternoon.

Kışanak is accused of “organization administration” and Anlı is accused of “organization membership” in the investigation with a confidentiality order. The bases of the accusations are the Co-Mayors municipal activities and the surveillance of the meetings that were carried out in the DTK building.
