Turkish security forces have once again hindered the retrieval of 16 wounded and 6 slain people from the basement where they remain trapped for 8 days now.

Reports are coming through that state forces deployed in the area have started to attack the building while ambulances of Cizre Municipality were about to reach the basement to rescue the trapped civilians.

HDP Şırnak deputy Faysal Sarıyıldız who is also in Cizre said contact has been lost with the trapped amid sounds of huge explosions around the building after state forces started to attack the building.

Sarıyıldız said; "Atrocity continues in the savagest manner. Sounds of blasts came while the wounded were about to be taken out of the basement. 30 people there are facing a threat of execution. We have released the names of all the people there, yet the President and others continue to distort the truth."

Following reports said that the ongoing aggression on the building has left another wall of the basement demolished, as a result of which one other of the wounded in critical condition, Sultan Irmak, has lost her life.
