Iranian state forces killed yet another kolbar on the border of Serdesht city in East Kurdistan.
According to the Kurdistan Human Rights Network, Iranian forces attacked a group of kolbars on the border of Serdesht city on Sunday, 11 August.
As a result of the attack, 32-year-old Ali Rasul, a father of one from Mahabad, was killed. Ali Rasul was a resident of Nelas district of Serdesht.
On the other hand, Rizgar Khelkani, a kolbar from Sardasht, was severely injured on 8 August after Iranian border guards opened fire on a group of kolbars in the Hangeh-ye Zhal border area of Baneh, Kurdistan Province.
According to KHRN, the border guards fired pellet guns at the kolbars at close range and without warning.
The incident left Khelkani seriously injured, with dozens of pellet wounds to his head, neck and hand.
Since the beginning of 2024, at least 37 kolbars have lost their lives and 236 others have been injured as a result of the fire opened by the Iranian regime forces.
