With a meeting held in Dêr Cemal town yesterday, Arfad (Tal Rifat) Assembly has been declared with the leadership of Shehba Region Executive Assembly.

Democratic Syria Assembly (MSD) representatives, Syrian Democratic National Coalition, Shehba Region Rûsipîs' Assembly and the Executive Assembly attended the meeting.

Shehba Region Rûsipîs Assembly Chairperson Cemal Elo, Demoratic Syria Assembly Executive Council member Alaedîn Xalid and Women’s Council official Delar Elo spoke in the meeting.

The speakers celebrated the Tal Rifat Assembly declaration and stressed the importance of unity among the peoples.

The speakers emphasized that the assembly should act as a core in solving the problems and that it should ensure the security of the region.

Mistefa Bekûr and Sewsen Hemo were elected as the Co-chairs of Tal Rifat Assembly.

A call to SDF (Syrian Democratic Forces) was issued in the meeting and the Assembly demanded Shehba region be cleared of ISIS and SNC (Syrian National Coalition) gangs.

There are 5 women in the 17-member administration of the Tal Rifat Assembly.
