Fiscal Directorate teams confiscated the assets of KURDÎ-DER branch in Van's Başkale district which was recently shutdown during the State of Emergency.

Kurdish Language Research and Development Association (KURDÎ-DER) Başkale Branch was among the 370 associations that had been closed down by the Interior Ministry a month ago.

Fiscal Directorate units confiscated the 1 computer, 2 computer desks, 2 desks, 2 chairs and 2 bookcases in the branch office.

GÜLER: WE WILL CONTINUE KURDISH EDUCATION

KURDÎ-DER Başkale Branch Rıdvan Güler made a statement on the issue and said: “Our association has been closed for a month. We will continue Kurdish education even if they close down every single one of our associations. We call upon our people to send their children to schools that provide Kurdish education. We will continue our struggle no matter how intense the oppression of Kurdish language becomes.”
