Out of the 8 bodies brought to Malatya Forensic Medicine Institute on March 14, Mazlum Karakoç’s and Cihat Türkan’s bodies were identified, received and buried by their families. Today Mehmet Ramazan Yalvarma and Cüneyt Aydemir were identified. Their families have left for their home towns for the funerals after receiving the bodies. Mehmet Ramazan Yalvarma will be buried in Silvan, and Cüneyt Aydemir in Bulanık. The 4 remaining bodies in the institutes are not yet identified.
With 5 bodies brought in to Malatya Forensic Medicine Institute on March 21, which still remain unidentified despite appeals from some families, there are a total of 14 bodies in Malatya now.
4 BODIES IN ELAZIĞ COULD NOT BE IDENTIFIED
Among the 7 bodies brought to Elazığ Forensic Medicine Institute from Sur on March 14, Dilber Bozkurt’s body was received by her family after the identification yesterday. Bodies of Mahsum Gürkan and Sinan Duman that were not given to their families yesterday on grounds of security have been received by their families today. The families are heading to Amed with the bodies to to bury them today.
Out of the 4 bodies still in Elazığ Forensic Medicine Institute, bodies of Eşref Polat and Uğur Burakmak are identified but haven’t been delivered to their families yet.
