Bodies of Tunç brothers identified

The bodies of Cizre People’s Assembly Co-President Mehmet Tunç and his brother Orhan Tunç, massacred in the basement of savagery in Cizre, were identified through a DNA test.

The bodies of Cizre People’s Assembly Co-President Mehmet Tunç and his brother Orhan Tunç, who informed the public about the wounded people massacred in the basement of savagery in Cizre, were identified through a DNA test. The Tunç family will go to Urfa and Mardin tomorrow, in order to retrieve Mehmet Tunç’s body from Urfa and Orhan Tunç’s body from Silopi.

Before his death, Mehmet Tunç had informed the public about the wounded people trapped in the basement of savagery, and said that nobody should expect them to surrender because they would continue resisting and fall as martyrs if needed. Tunç had also stated that the Kurdish movement would not end with the massacre of 100 people, and called upon everyone to keep their morale high. Lastly, Tunç had saluted everyone who put up a resistance, and called upon Kurdish people to be proud of Cizre resistance for refusing to kneel down.
