Many of the Cizre basement victims are yet to be identified from among burnt and dismembered corpses sent to 4 different cities and towns in the Kurdish region.

Derya Koç, former co-chair of HDP Milas district branch, who was in the third basement of atrocity has been identified today.

Koç has been identified by his father in the temporarily formed Forensic Medicine Institution at Khabur Border Gate in Şırnak's Silopi district. Body of Koç will be handed over to her family following procedures.

In her last remarks to TV channels and news agencies on 10 February, Derya Koç had said some 20 people in the basement had been burned to death, and the others in the building were facing a threat of imminent execution by state forces.
