57-year-old Teybet İnan and his brother in law Yusuf İnan (40) were killed by state forces in Şırnak's Silopi district one week ago. Their bodies have been retrieved only today after one week of denial of access to the scene.

Neither efforts by HDP deputies at the scene nor HDP Şırnak MP Aycan İrmez's parliamentary question helped the the retrieval of the bodies from where they were killed one week ago.

An ambulance was allowed into the neighborhood only Friday morning, upon which residents managed to go to the scene and carry Teybet İnan's body to the ambulance by waving white flags.

Body of her brother in law Yusuf İnan, who was killed in the same street the same day, had also remained in the neighborhood for one week. His body was also carried to the ambulance which took both bodies to Silopi State Hospital.
