Bombardment in Lice

Turkish warplanes bombarded the Lice district of Amed throughout last night. Human shields arrived at the region, where soldiers have burnt down houses in villages such as Hamzabey.

After the Diyarbakır Governorate’s announcement of a curfew in 13 villages in Amed’s Lice district, which has been targeted frequently, Turkish warplanes bombarded the region. Several planes bombarded the rural parts of Lice for three hours after the curfew began at 10:00, and several houses in villages such as Hamzabey have been burnt down. Human shields from all across Amed arrived at Lice yesterday, stayed in the district during the day, and left the district at night.

Military activity continues in the district, where there is a curfew in the villages of Dizdeynî, Xosor, Büyükçağ, Şaxur, Karıncax, Seyrek, Yeşilburç, Konuklu, Mızak, Zengesor, Heşeder, Hendif, and Barav.
