Citizens denied permission to light Newroz fires in Bradost

Permission to light the Newroz fire in Bradost, South Kurdistan, was denied.

An important part of South Kurdistan is celebrating Newroz this year under the occupation of the Turkish state. In many villages in the Bradost region, in Hewler, where the occupying forces are located, Newroz fires were not allowed.

In the villages of Bermîzê, Deşta Hêrt, Geliyê Şêxzadan and Xelîfan, fire was opened on the civilians who wanted to light the Newroz.

It was learned that Newroz celebrations were banned in the Sidekan. According to Roj News, journalists are not allowed in the area.
