Baath regime forces attacked the check point of Asayish (public security) forces in Hesekê city centre at around 12:50 Tuesday noon. Asayish members retaliated to the attack, resulting in clashes that spread to a larger area in a short while.

Asayish forces have reportedly evacuated the civilians in the area to avoid them getting harmed by the fighting.

On the other hand, it is reported that regime and paramilitary forces have targeted civilians and remain stranded in their area.
