Several soldiers died or got injured during the clashes that broke out in Çukurca this morning.

Although Turkish soldiers claim that 5 soldiers got injured, local sources report that several bodies of dead soldiers were retrieved from the site of clashes.

Dead and injured soldiers were brought to Hakkari State Hospital with Sikorsky helicopters.

Clashes continue in the region, and the Turkish army uses helicopters to support the soldiers.
