On the 23rd day of ongoing resistance against attacks, clashes erupted again in Hakkari’s Gever district. After a quiet night, a short clash occurred between the special operations units trying to enter Cumhuriyet neighborhood and YPS/YPS-JIN resistance fighers. After the clash, state forces retreated, failing to break the resistance. Sporadic shelling of the neighborhoods continue.

There were two explosions in Orman neighborhood. No information could be gathered on the cause and result of the explosions.

In Cumhuriyet neighborhood where 82 civilians had to evacuate their homes because of the ongoing bombing recently, another group of civilians were evacuated from their homes. Reports say these citizens were taken to Selahattin Eyyubi Cultural Center that has been converted to a “detention center”.
