Co-mayor of Ağrı's Tutak district has been jailed alongside two other people for alleged “membership to a terrorist organisation”.

10 people who had been detained during house raids conducted by police on January 23 after the appointment of a trustee to Ağrı's Tutak district municipality on January 11, were referred to court after procedures at police directorate.
7 out of the 10 detainees were released, while co-mayor Fırat Öztürk, HDP district former co-chair Ramazan Yıldız and Cesim Balçok were jailed for alleged “membership to a terrorist organisation”.
